What if we told you that your mala breaking was something to be celebrated? Often times when a mala breaks, it signifies that it's purpose has been fulfilled in your life. Your karma has been ‘burnt off’ through your practice, and you no longer need it. This signifies the end of a chapter and the beginning of a new chapter!
You can celebrate your mala for all that it was and all that it did for you. You may want to keep the beads in a bag or small box, as a keepsake. Begin thinking of a new intention to bring into your new chapter! What would serve you now, moving forward? What do you wish to create in your life: Love, abundance, peace, strength? Remember that your thoughts have the power to manifest even the unimaginable, so dream big!
With that said, it is important to take good care of your mala. It is highly recommended that you DO NOT shower, swim, or exercise wearing your mala to preserve its natural quality. Please treat your item with great care, and value it as the precious piece that it is. If your item breaks from being tugged on, has caught on something, or any other physical damage, that is not a reflection of a greater purpose being held for it, but rather a tragic accident. It is also not a reflection of Malas In Bloom craftsmanship.
We used to offer mala restringing for a fee. We are no longer able to offer this service to you, unless it breaks within 60 days of your purchase. Your mala is a sacred tool infused with healing vibrations, that if cared for properly, should not break! Please be mindful in your practices with it.
